Fantasia Barrino-Taylor was the first Black woman to win “American Idol” in 2004 and has been America’s soft spoken sweet heart every since. The accomplished singer won a Theatre Award for her role on Broadway in “The Color Purple.” She netted a GRAMMY for the “Best Female R&B Vocal Performance” in 2011 for her song “Bittersweet,” but her latest reward is her little one on the way. The soulful singer opened up to “The Tamron Hall Show” a few weeks ago alongside her husband Kendall and discussed their experiences with infertility saying “At first, we thought we were going to have to do different things,” referencing in vitro fertilization but ultimately chose to not worry and “let God be God.” A choice that proved 100% effective for the couple that is set to welcome their fourth child collectively but first together, whom they’ve lovingly revealed is a girl.
