Floyd Mayweather Shows Nate Robinson Support After Boxing Mislay

Over the weekend former NBA player Nate Robinson came up short literally and figuratively to his YouTube famous opponent Jake Paul.

The fight was a prelude to the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. match that ultimately ended in a draw. Robinson was defeated by a KO and while the memes ensued undefeated champion boxer Floyd Mayweather did not take the opportunity to “kick” the athlete while he was down saying “Nate I’m proud of you and I will always stand behind all my brothers. I will never kick my brother when he’s down. It’s ok for people to voice their opinions on social media, but no black athletes or black entertainers, especially black NBA players should make a mockery of you.” Since the match the ex professional basketball player released a resilience filled statement saying “Put that gun down son, get knocked out like your father used to. Great souls are grown through storms and struggles and seasons of suffering. #holddat” While also thanking the league (Triller) for the opportunity. Outside of sports Nate Robinson is known for his philanthropic community efforts. Are we still ALL we got?
